Join Helder the Husky and the GBClimbers2019 on Saturday, November 2nd for UP 2019! Together, we'll climb 1,776 steps to the top of the CN Tower and help communities rise from poverty to possibility. How to Register
Visit our George Brown College Huskies GBClimbers2019 page on the United Way website, click on the "JOIN TEAM" button and follow the instructions to register as a George Brown Huskies team member.
A non-refundable registration fee applies: $10 for students and $20 for staff/faculty.
What do I do after registering? It's time to get ready!
Minimum fundraising requirements
To be eligible for the climb day on November 2nd, each climber must raise and submit the following fundraising minimums: $60 for students and $100 for staff/faculty. As always, 100% of funds raised will go directly to United Way's ongoing work in fighting poverty across our region.
STUDENT INCENTIVE TIME! Students, start raising funds before October 18th and get a portion of your fundraising minimum subsidized by the GBClimbers2019 organizing committee!
Get those climbing legs into gear!
Join certified strength & conditioning coach Shawn Jeffers in the St James Fitness Centre for TTT: Tower Training Tuesdays! Every Tuesday between 3pm-4pm until the climb, Shawn will be available to give workout and training tips on how to get those legs in the strongest shape possible to clock your personal best time. Casa Loma Campus students, check in with certified personal trainer Allan Moore in the Casa Loma Athletic Centre!
