No. 2 HUSKIES MEN'S BASKETBALL LOOK TO STAY PERFECT SATURDAY AGAINST CANADORE

Matchup    Canadore @ George Brown
Date           Saturday, November 3
Time           3:00 pm
Location     Casa Loma Gymnasium

George Brown men's basketball (3-0, 1st east division) will put their perfect record on the line Saturday afternoon when they play host to Canadore.

The Huskies are ranked second in the province in the newly released OCAA rankings, on the strength of a pair of road wins over Algonquin and La Cite this past weekend.

Offensively, five Huskies are averaging double-figures for what has been a well-balanced attack. Liban Mohamed (Toronto, Ont.) and Adam Costanzo (Ottawa, Ont.) are each averaging south of 16 points a night to lead the way, while Kingslee D'Silva (Mississauga, Ont.), Kevon Guiseppi-Mascoe (Scarborough, Ont.) and Teshayn Gayle (Montreal, Que.) are each averaging 10 or more points a night.

While the season is still young, the Huskies defence already stands out as an elite unit, allowing 72 points or fewer in each of the Huskies opening three games and George Brown ranks third in points allowed per game. Opponents are shooting just 34.8% from beyond the arc, and the Huskies rank seventh in total rebounding (41.7 per night).

George Brown currently ranks among Ontario's top five in field goal attempts per game (1st, 34.0), field goal percentage (2nd, 55.3%), offensive rebounds per game (3rd, 18.7) and free throws made par game (3rd, 16.7).

Canadore heads into the matchup with a current record of 1-0.
