George Brown men's basketball (8-1, 1st east) can assure themselves a finish atop the east division standings to close the semester on Tuesday night with a road victory over Fleming.
The Huskies average margin of victory has been an impressive 24.6, and they have delivered three 37-plus point wins in their past five outings. George Brown continues to boast the OCAA's stingiest defence (64.3 points allowed per game) and have held opponents to just 37.5% shooting from the field (third) and 26.7% from beyond the arc (first).
Big Adam Costanzo continues to establish himself as one of the best forwards in the country - the second-year forward has looked even better in his sophomore season. Costanzo currently ranks fourth in the province in rebounds per game (10.2) while averaging 13.4 points and over a block and steal a night. Playing alongside Kingslee D'Silva (12.1 ppg, 7.8 rpg) the Huskies boast an imposing frontcourt pairing.
Liban Mohamed and Kevon Guiseppi-Mascoe have both established themselves among the easts best scoring wings, and will continue to be leaned on in the second half. Mohamed currently leads the Huskies in scoring, averaging 16.3 points a night and converting three triples a game, while Guiseppi-Mascoe averages 12.8 points a night on a red-hot 45.5% shooting from beyond the arc.
Fleming heads into the matchup with a record of 3-6 on the season.
