GEORGE BROWN SET TO HOST 41ST ANNUAL HUSKIES MEN'S BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

George Brown men's basketball is set to host the 41st Annual Huskies Men's Basketball tournament, with the two-day tournament running Friday, January 4 - Saturday, January 5 at Casa Loma Campus.

Five teams from the east and three from the west will face-off, including the OCAA's second (George Brown) and ninth (Lambton) ranked teams. The four opening-round winners will advance to the semi-finals, while losers head into the consolation semi's.

The Huskies are coming off a 2-1 performance at the East/West Holiday Classic, and head into the winter semester at 9-1 and atop the east division standings. The Huskies boast Ontario's stingiest defence, allowing the lowest point total in the OCAA (64.1), lowest opponents three-point percentage (25.9%) and third-lowest field goal percentage (37.6%). Four Huskies are averaging double-figures for a balanced scoring attack, headlined by Liban Mohamed, Kevon Guiseppi-Mascoe and Adam Costanzo,
