The men's team (7-1, 2nd east) bounced back from their only loss of the season with a win over Centennial, and they are looking to close the opening semester a perfect 5-0 at home. The Huskies have cleaned up on the glass, leading the province in offensive rebounding, ranking third in overall boards and sixth in rebounding margin. All-Star and Rookie of the Year Adam Costanzo has led the way averaging 10.5 boards a night, while big men Kingslee D'Silva and Ayoub Mohamed have done it on both ends.
The scoring attack has been impressively balanced for George Brown, as Liban Mohamed, Costanzo, Kevon Guisseppi-Mascoe and D'Silva are all averaging double-figures. George Brown is allowing just 66.9 points per game, the second-lowest mark in the OCAA.
The Lords head into the matchup with a record of 4-4.
The women's team (6-1, 1st east) goes into Wednesday night in search of their fifth straight win, currently tied atop the east division standings with Algonquin. The women's team have turned themselves into an elite defensive unit, allowing just 57.1 points a night (6th in the province), while ranking third in opponents field goal percentage (30.8%) and second in steals per game (15.6).
The duo of Tianna Sullivan and Zae Sellers have paced George Brown thus far, as the two are combining for over 32 points a night and form one of Ontario's scariest scoring combos. Both are shooting nearly 50% from the field, and in her first season Sellers has already shown herself to be among the leagues elite at the position.
Durham has a record of 4-3 on the season.
