Point guard Zae Sellers experienced a career night in her final regular-season game for George Brown. In front of friends and family, Sellers went 12-of-22 from the field for a career-high 31 points. Her efficient shooting was on display from deep as she drilled a career-high seven three-pointers. The Civil Engineering Technology student also recorded seven rebounds, five assists and five steals in an 88-36 victory over Georgian in the season finale. The victory allowed George Brown to clinch the second playoff seed out of the East Division.
Barry continued to put together a solid first-year campaign for the Huskies. The forward went 7-of-10 from the field for a game-high 15 points, six rebounds, two assists and a block in a victory over the Georgian Grizzlies. What was even more impressive is he did this in only 18 minutes on Friday night.
The Building Renovation Technology student got George Brown rolling early on. He registered nine points in the first quarter, which helped the Huskies jump out to a 31-12 lead. The team rode that advantage the rest of the way to win the game and clinch first place in the East Division with a 17-3 record.
