Chris Fields (Men's Basketball)
Fourth-year veteran Chris Fields (Montreal, QC) was a major presence in the Huskies victory over the UTM Eagles last Wednesday night. Fields shot a red-hot 70% from the floor tallying 19 points including going 3-4 from beyond the arc. The speedy point guard also logged four assists, three steals and two rebounds in only 21 minutes of action. The 2018-19 OCAA Defensive Player of the Year and the rest of his Huskies team will now prepare for the Fleming Knights on Wednesday night at home. Tip-off scheduled for 7PM.
Ashley Lau (Women's Volleyball)
Second-year Ashley Lau (Vancouver, BC) came up big in the Huskies’ 3-1 win over the Loyalist Lancers this past Sunday. Lau was a force on the attack, hitting a solid .450 while collecting 10 kills on 20 attempts in the match. The leftside also added three serving aces in the match as well as two digs and three assists. Lau and the Huskies will now get ready for Super Game Day, where they will take on the Durham Lords Saturday afternoon. Start time scheduled for 1PM.
