George Brown baseball (2-8) heads west this weekend for a pair of near must-win doubleheaders against Fanshawe and St. Clair.

The Huskies currently sit eight points back of Durham for the fourth and final playoff spot, having split the season series with the Lords to this point. They'll lean on the trio of John Lamanna, Quentin Fleming and David de Cassan on the mound and Anthony Buonaiuto and AJ McMahon to lead them offensively.

George Brown already played both the Falcons and Saints tight earlier this season, narrowly unable to come up with wins due to late innings falters. If they want to keep playoff hopes alive they'll need to find a way over the next couple of days.
