The Huskies battled to a 1-1 draw with the Loyalist Lancers on Friday (Oct. 3) night in Belleville, Ont.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies got off to a fast start as Annia Pavli found the back of the net in the eighth minute. The offence was clicking throughout, recording 13 shots on goal but unable to add to the lead. Loyalist equalized in the 72nd minute off the foot of Gabrielle Denis-Bertrand.

Goalkeeper Sarah Anisha Van Wart-Bradbury made six saves in the match.

UP NEXT: The Huskies play their final home game of the season against the St. Lawrence Surge on Sunday (Oct. 5) afternoon. Game time is 1pm.

Prior to the match, the Huskies will honour their graduating student-athletes.
