The women's soccer team fell 3-0 to the Seneca Sting on the road in their season opener on Friday (Sept. 5) night.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies had their hands full with the two-time provincial champions, conceding a goal in the opening minute. From there, the team did everything they could to slow Seneca down, but the Sting added two more in the span of 11 minutes in the second half to seal the victory.
Goalkeeper Sarah Anisha Van Wart-Bradbury did all she could, stopping eight shots in the loss.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (0-1) are back at it on Wednesday (Sept. 10) night when they travel to Oshawa to battle the Lords (0-1). Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
