Veterans Iman Bhanji and Annia Pavli each took home their first career OCAA awards for their dedication and impressive play during the 2025 outdoor soccer season.

Bhanji stepped up tremendously in her third season with the Huskies. While her role doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet, her peers took notice, naming her an OCAA East Division Second Team All-Star. The captain’s presence and defensive effort were on full display throughout the season. She was an ironwoman, starting every match and never missing a minute. Her leadership was also key for the team, both vocally and through her example on the field.

After missing the entire 2024 season with a torn ACL, Pavli came back with a vengeance, earning OCAA East Division Second Team All-Star honours. No matter the responsibilities given, the midfielder was effective both offensively and defensively. She led the team with a career-high two goals, one of which stood as the game-winner.
