The George Brown Huskies fell 2-1 to the Loyalist Lancers in their home opener on Sunday (Sept. 14) afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The first half was a stalemate between the two sides. The opening goal didn't come until the 61st minute for the Lancers. The Huskies responded quickly, thanks to a great setup from Alyssa Budhoo to Jennifer Lopez for her first career OCAA goal just two minutes later.

Unfortunately, the Lancers found the back of the net again in the 87th minute and held off the Huskies the rest of the way.
