HUSKIES DROP CLOSE ONE TO DURHAM

The George Brown Huskies conceded a late marker to Durham, falling 2-1 on the road Wednesday (Sept. 10) night.

HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies got on the board early thanks to a penalty shot from Mark Do Coito in the second minute. The Lords tied it up in the 26th minute when Ariel Muanza converted off a corner kick. The score remained 1-1 until the 88th minute, when Durham slipped a shot past goalkeeper Joseph Agostino and held on for the win.

UP NEXT: The Huskies host the Algonquin Wolves in their home opener on Sunday (Sept. 14) afternoon. Game time is set for 3 ppm.
