The George Brown Huskies smashed the St. Lawrence Surge by a score of 76–30 at home on Sunday (Feb. 1) afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Things got started right away offensively thanks to Corrynn Parker, who dropped 13 points in the opening quarter to give the Huskies a 19–7 advantage. Jayme Foreman picked up where Parker left off in the second quarter, putting up 10 points in the frame as the Huskies led 38–17 at the half. George Brown kept pouring on the offence the rest of the way.
NOTABLE STATS: Foreman posted a game-high 24 points, six rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Jordyn Dawkins shot 80% from the field, finishing with 17 points, seven rebounds, and a steal, while Parker added 16 points, four steals, and two rebounds.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (5–6) continue their chase for a home playoff game on Friday (Feb. 6) night when they host the Centennial Colts (3–8). Tip-off is scheduled for 6pm.
