The women's basketball team clinched a home playoff game in the first round after defeating the Durham Lords 48–43 on the road Friday (Feb. 13) night.

NOTABLE STATS: Coming off a career night, Emmanuela Nwokorie continued her strong play, going 6-of-8 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line for a game-high 18 points, adding 10 rebounds and a steal.

Anan Abbatulam filled up the stat sheet with a career-high six steals, a game-high 11 rebounds, and six points.

UP NEXT: The Huskies will host the Lambton Lions in the qualifying round of the OCAA playoffs on Saturday (Feb. 21) afternoon. Tip-off is set for 3pm.
