Women's Basketball forward Anan Abbatulam and Men's Volleyball outside hitter Joseph Lee have been named the Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending February 8th.
Anan Abbatulam, Women’s Basketball
The forward put together her best game of the season against Centennial, shooting 5-for-10 from the field for 15 points, while adding eight rebounds, four assists, and one steal.
Joseph Lee, Men’s Volleyball
The outside hitter was consistent in the team’s two victories, recording a total of 26 points on 18 kills, three service aces, and five blocks, while adding 12 digs.
In the straight-sets victory over Centennial, he was efficient, posting a team-high 12 points on eight kills, two service aces, and a pair of blocks. His hitting percentage in the match was .538.
