Women's Basketball forward Emmanuela Nwokorie and Men's Volleyball outside hitter Trent Ketrzynski have been named the Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending February 17th.

The first-year forward put the OCAA on notice, averaging 18.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and two steals per game while shooting 52% from the field in the final two regular season games. She also recorded a double-double in both of them.

In the season finale, a must-win to host a qualifying playoff game, Nwokorie went 6-of-8 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line for a game-high 18 points, adding 10 rebounds and a steal in a win over Durham. Earlier in the week, she registered 19 points, 13 rebounds, and three steals against Seneca, all were career-highs.

The outside hitter was a force, recording a match-high 18 points on 17 kills and one block, while ranking second on the team with 10 digs against the Fanshawe Falcons in the first round of the OCAA playoffs.
