The George Brown Huskies went the distance but dropped a 3–2 (25–19, 25–22, 20–25, 15–25, 11–15) decision to the Georgian Grizzlies at home on Wednesday (Jan. 28) night.
NOTABLE STATS: Trent Ketrzynski continued his strong play in 2026, recording a team-high 19 points on 17 kills and two service aces. Yaroslav Svidritskiy was right behind him with 16 points on 11 kills, three service aces, and a pair of blocks, while recording a team-high five digs.
Joseph Lee chipped in with 11 points on nine kills, a service ace, and a block.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (7–6) head to North Bay, Ont., to duel the Canadore Panthers. George Brown still has a slim shot at hosting a playoff crossover match, but they need to win out and get some help to do so. First serve is at 3pm.
George Brown Athletics and Recreation would like to thank our graduating student for their commitment to the team over their Huskies careers. Our 2025-26 graduating Men's Volleyball student-athlete is:

Off the court, he earned the Huskies Athletic Academic Achievement Award after achieving a 4.0 GPA in 2025. On the court, he appeared in 24 matches, recording 70 points, 31 kills, 27 blocks, and 12 service aces. He will be graduating from the Early Childhood Education program.
