The George Brown Huskies swept the Centennial Colts 3–0 (25–14, 25–21, 25–22) at home on Saturday (Nov. 15) night.
HOW IT HAPPENED: It was all Huskies in the first set. With the score 12–7, the home side closed on a 13–7 run to take it 25–14.
The second set was more back-and-forth, with the score tied 14–14 before George Brown rallied with a 7–2 run—enough of a cushion to close out the set 25–21.
The third set turned out to be very similar to the previous one. With the score 6–6, the Huskies won six straight points and used that advantage to hold off a late charge from Centennial, sealing the sweep.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (2–3) are on the road for their next two matches. First up are the Algonquin Wolves (5–0) on Saturday night. First serve is at 8 pm.
