The George Brown Huskies dismantled the Durham Lords by a score of 54–28 at home on Saturday (Nov. 15) afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies came out swinging on both sides of the ball. They shot 50% from the field while holding Durham to under 12%, taking an early 18–8 lead after the opening 10 minutes. They maintained that type of stat line in the second quarter to go up 38–16 at halftime. George Brown didn't look back the rest of the way.
NOTABLE STATS: Jordyn Dawkins went 6-of-9 from the field, including a trio of three-pointers, for a game-high 15 points and five rebounds in just 19 minutes of action.
Joyme Foreman chipped in with 11 points, four rebounds, a game-high four assists, and a steal in the victory.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (1–3) are back on the court on Saturday (Nov. 22) night when they welcome the Algonquin Wolves (3–1) to town. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 pm.
