The George Brown Huskies took down the Georgian Grizzlies by a score of 3–2 (20–25, 25–23, 25–22, 15–25, 16–14) at home on Wednesday (Jan. 28) night.
NOTABLE STATS: Kaarina Niemimaa recorded a season and match-high 17 points on 14 kills, two service aces, and a block, while adding 12 digs, which ranked second on the team.
In possibly her final home match of her career, Alexa Milot put on a show, posting 16 points on 12 kills, three blocks, and a service ace. Jada Morrow was spectacular orchestrating the offence, as she posted a career-high 38 assists in the win.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (7–6) travel north to battle the Canadore Panthers (8–6) on Saturday (Jan. 31) afternoon. George Brown still has a chance to host a playoff crossover match, but they need to beat Canadore to keep that possibility alive. First serve is at 1pm.
