The George Brown Huskies bounced the Centennial Colts by a score of 3–1 (14–25, 25–13, 25–20, 25–23) on Saturday (Nov. 15) night at home.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Colts were the team that got out to a strong start, taking the opening set 25–14. The second set was all Huskies. After taking an early 15–10 advantage, the home side went on a 9–1 run, which led to them taking the set 25–13.
The third set was a battle, but with the score 10–9 for the Huskies, they scored 11 of the next 12 points to give themselves enough separation to hold off a late Centennial push, winning the set 25–20.
The Huskies closed out the match by winning four of the last six points to snatch the final set 25–23.
