Women's Volleyball outside hitter Kaarina Niemimaa and Men’s Basketball forward Devonte Campbell have been named the Huskies Athletes of the Week for the period ending December 1st.
Kaarina Niemimaa, Women’s Volleyball
The fourth-year outside hitter did everything in the team’s victory over Fleming. She recorded a match-high 12 points on eight kills, three service aces, and a block, while also posting a season-best .375 hitting percentage. Defensively, she tied for a team-high seven digs in the team’s final match of 2025.
Devonte Campbell, Men’s Basketball
The forward was extremely effective, averaging nine points, four rebounds, 2.5 assists, and two steals in the team’s final two games of 2025.
He came up massive off the bench in the team’s win over St. Lawrence. He posted a team-high 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting, while filling up the stat sheet with five rebounds, three of them offensive, four assists, and three steals.
