The George Brown Huskies fell 73-63 to the Seneca Sting at home on Wednesday (Feb. 11) night.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies got off to a fast start, jumping out to a 16-8 lead. They rode that momentum to an 18-12 advantage after the opening 10 minutes.
The back-and-forth continued, but with the score tied 26-26, the Sting closed the half on a 9-3 run to take a 35-29 lead at the break.
The offence found its legs to begin the second half, starting on a 15-2 run, with Kalyem Liburd-Mullings scoring six of those points. The score stood at 46-42 for the Huskies with 10 minutes left. Once again, George Brown couldn't keep pace in the fourth quarter, as they were outscored 31-17 to close the game.
NOTABLE STATS: Liburd-Mullings posted a game-high 19 points, while Iffy Chiekwe added 16 points, four rebounds and one steal.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (4-13) wrap up their regular season on the road against the Durham Lords (13-4) on Friday (Feb. 13) night. Game time is 8pm.

#4 Raheem Roberts
Roberts joined the Huskies in the summer of 2024. During his time with the team, he grew tremendously as a person and brought passion every time he stepped onto the floor. He has appeared in 24 career games, averaging six points and four rebounds per game. He will be graduating from the Media Foundations program.
#7 Katrel Johnson
Recruited in the summer of 2024, Johnson's versatility was on full display throughout his Huskies career. He has played in 30 games, averaging 6.8 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 45% from the field. He will be graduating from the Building Renovation Technology program.
#9 Iffy Chiekwe
After joining the team in the summer of 2024, Chiekwe immediately provided an offensive spark and leadership. He was consistently one of the first on the court and last to leave. He has played in 24 career games, averaging 13.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game. He will be graduating from the Human Services Foundations program.
#21 Seth Bentolila
The forward was recruited in the spring of 2025 and instantly helped build the team culture with his calm and selfless approach. He has appeared in 17 games this season, averaging 2.1 points and 3.9 rebounds. He will be graduating from the Plumbing Techniques program.
#22 Tyrese Drummond-Golden
Drummond-Golden joined the program in the summer of 2025, bringing contagious energy and passion from day one. He stepped on the court in 15 games, averaging 7.6 points and 2.2 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.8% from the floor. He will be graduating from the Media Foundations program.
