The George Brown Huskies men's basketball team fell 84–75 to the Loyalist Lancers on the road Saturday (Nov. 29) afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies got off to a fast start, led by Iffy Chiekwe's 11 points in the quarter, to jump out to an early 28–14 advantage. Loyalist crawled back in the next 10 minutes to make the score 38–31 George Brown at halftime.
The Lancers kept the foot on the gas pedal in the second half. They fought back and outscored the Huskies by 11 to head into the fourth up 62–57. George Brown wasn't able to get any closer the rest of the way.
NOTABLE STATS: Chiekwe led the way for the team, dropping 21 points, eight rebounds, and two steals. Tyrese Drummond-Golden was the next-highest scorer with 11 points, three rebounds, three assists, and a steal.
UP NEXT: The Huskies (2–6) wrap up the 2025 portion of their season against the St. Lawrence Surge (4–3) on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is at 3pm.
