With only four returning Huskies on the active roster George Brown played a competitive opening quarter, trailing 29-19 through the first ten minutes.
The visiting Dolphins pulled away for good in the second, clearly hungry to avenge a Sunday afternoon loss to the Brock Badgers. They went on a 24-11 run to close the half and never looked back.
Power forward Matt Bukovec played well for the Huskies, hitting three triples in the first twenty minutes. Newcomer Adam Costanzo looked impressive in his debut as well, finishing with nine points and putting in solid work on the interior throughout the night. Alex Petronis had seven points at the point, while Justin Bhangoo finished with six courtesy of a few nice finishes in the paint.
The reigning OCAA silver medalists will continue their preseason slate on Friday, August 18 against the Notre Dame College Falcons. Opening tip is scheduled for 8pm at Casa Loma Campus.
