This year marks George Brown Athletics' 50
From a 1970's basketball run that included a national title and seven provincial championships, to cross country's 27 total OCAA medals and the badminton program picking up eight Ontario titles and 21 medals since 2000, George Brown Athletics programs have a long and storied history. Individual performances such as
"There is a lot of history here inside these walls at George Brown that people don't really know about. It's being able to host large scale homecoming events like these every five years that really gives a platform and opportunity to keep sharing that history and culture with the current student base, both athlete and non-athlete," said manager of athletics Melanie Gerin-Lajoie.

The weekend's events will include a gala dinner with hall of fame inductions, recreational and competitive varsity games, and a special edition of #GBConnect with great guest speakers from the Toronto sports industry including gold medal Olympian Tessa Bonhomme and Vice President & General Manager of NBA Canada Dan Mackenzie.
